In-Home Caregiver
Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting - Assist with mobility and transfers, including the use of mobility aids and equipment - Administer medications according to prescribed schedules - Prepare meals and assist with feeding, ensuring dietary requirements are met - Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and dishwashing - Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients - Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior to the appropriate supervisor or healthcare professional - Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred but not required - Compassionate and patient demeanor - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision - Reliable transportation to travel to client's homes - Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
